Kid's Gallery

Hi Kids! I'd love to read your stories, poems or jokes. Email them to me and I will put as many as I can on my webpage.

These wonderful stories were written by children at Manor Primary School who I visited on World Book Day.

Once upon a time there were Millie, Leo and Henry. They all lived in the same house together.
Millie said “We need the wand to make Henry fly”'
But Duck and Billy came. They wanted it. “No no you are not getting the wand”.
They all tried to get away. Then Leo found the wand on the floor.
Leo cast a spell on Henry and Henry started to fly.
Then they all jumped in. So Henry flew to Disney Land.
The End

By Grace, Year 1

Once on a early morning Milly and Leo were at the movies with Cutie. Henry was having a great time at the park.
But Duck and Billy were watching him.
Milly, Leo and Cutie were there with the wand then Cutie turned the car big and Duck watched them do it.
So they had a plan to get the wand.
But Milly and Leo and Cutie kept it at Cutie's house.
So when Duck and Billie tried to get it, Cutie forced them not to touch it.
So they went home everyday without the wand.

Once there was an island and people lived on it. They were called Abby, Ed, Pinkie, Trouble Mouse, Starcatcher,
Prance, Cheeky and Peter.
Starcatcher said “Let's use some magic to go on an adventure”.
He twisted his horn three times and then went on an adventure BOOM!
“That was fun” shouted Abby, “I want to go home now”.
but everybody agreed “Come on then”.

By Richard, Year 2

Once there was a tiger called Abigail and she had two friends.
One was a worm and its name was Pinkie. The other was an elephant and his name was Ed.
One day they wanted to go on an adventure. Then a beautiful small unicorn called Starcatcher
swept down and the friends asked if they could have a ride
but the problem was that she was too small. So she twirled here horn around three times.
Then they all went smaller to have a ride PUFF!
They were going to land on Adventure Island but the one thing stopping the fun was a fat mouse called
Trouble Mouse and two nice people but because of Trouble Mouse they were always Moody.
Their names were Prance, Cheeky and Peter.
The four friends landed by Trouble Mouse's house and he said “Who dares to pass me”.
So they all stepped towards him but then Starcatcher said “ I shall use magic on you then”.
“No” said Trouble Mouse.
“OK” said Starcatcher but she carried on.
“We shall use magic to make you nice and this island also and everyone shall forget”.
So PUFF everyone was home and everyone was nice and had forgotten that time on Adventure Island.

Poppy, Poppy where is your head?

Ssssh, I'm sleeping, get me in the morning.

It is morning, so wake up, will you!?

I want to see your face.

NO! It's not Friday, is it?

No it's Sunday.

Oh, ok then...

And this super starry picture was drawn by six year old Lily Mallett from Derbyshire. Well done, Lily!
