Sadie is in deep trouble at school. Emily, the class bully, is out to get her. And, if that isn't bad enough, Wazoo ''the wizard who's been changed into a spider'' is being impossible.
But Wazoo has his troubles too. If he can't find the antidote to the spell, he'll remain a spider forever and Sadie is the only one who can help him. So he insists on accompanying Sadie everywhere, and gives her a hard time. ''You're such a loser,'' he tells her.
